How to Create a Custom Profile Card QR Code

Create a mobile-friendly digital profile card with a QR code that lets people view your info, save your contact details, and share their own with you. Add it to your Apple Wallet for quick access.

What is a Profile Card QR Code?

A Profile Card QR code opens a digital profile page when someone scans it. The page can hold your photo, contact info, social profiles, booking links, and other resources in one place. It works well for networking, events, sales conversations, email signatures, and printed materials.

Before you start

You’ll need access to Sites > QR Codes in your account. Have your profile photo, contact details, and any links you want to share ready.

How to create your Profile Card

Step 1: Open the QR Code Builder

  1. Go to Sites in the left menu.

  2. Click QR Codes.

  3. Click Create QR Code.

Step 2: Name it and choose a type

  1. Enter a name you’ll recognize later.

  2. Select Profile card.

  3. Click Next.

Step 3: Add your photo and info
Add your profile photo and enter your details, such as name, company, title, email, phone number, website, and address.

Step 4: Choose your colors and style
Pick a cover image and set your page, text, icon, and button colors. The live preview shows how the card will look.

Step 5: Add your links
Select any built-in social platforms you want to show, such as Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook. To add something else, such as a booking calendar or portfolio, click Add custom links, then enter a name, URL, and icon. Drag the links to put them in the order you want.

Step 6: Turn on Exchange Contact (optional)
Want visitors to share their info with you too? Turn on Exchange Contact. Visitors fill out a short form, and their details are added to your account as a new contact. You can create a new form or use an existing one.

Step 7: Style your QR code
Customize the QR code’s colors, shape, frame, and center logo. You can also add text like “Scan Me.” Keep the code easy to scan, then click Save.

Step 8: Add the card to your Apple Wallet

  1. Click Add to Wallet.

  2. Scan the code with your iPhone.

  3. Your card now appears in your Apple Wallet.

Optional settings

  • Automatically Download My Contact Info: Starts the contact-saving process as soon as the card opens.

  • Open Exchange Contact Form by Default: Shows the form right away, without a button click.

Test both settings on a phone before you share the card.

Tips

  • Only add the links that matter most, and put the most important ones first.

  • Save Contact is on by default, and you don’t need Exchange Contact for it.

  • You can download the QR code as a PNG, SVG, or PDF, or copy the direct link for email signatures, websites, and texts.
